West Midlands FE Chaplains Networking Event – 26 February 2025

We’re really excited to announce a networking event for FE and Sixth Form College chaplains on Wednesday 26th February 2025!

Open to anyone offering chaplaincy or chaplaincy-style support to a FE or Sixth Form College in the wider West Midlands region, whether you’re a new chaplain or more experienced, full time in your college or an occasional visitor.

  • Plenty of time for networking
  • Short inputs from a range of experienced contributors
  • Food and drink included

Further Education Sunday is back – on 12th May 2024.  This year we’re hugely excited to announce that FE Sunday will be the focus for the Church of England’s weekly online service.  But whatever your denomination, you can take part using the resources, materials and videos available on our FE Sunday page and at the dedicated FE Sunday website.

Further Education Sunday 2023 is coming – on 14 May!

FE Sunday is a great time to pray for your local college and consider how to love and serve it better.  Visit our brand new website fe-sunday.uk, developed in partnership with Festive, for videos, downloadable prayer resources and ideas for worship and action.  You can also keep up to date on Twitter and tweet what you’re doing for FE Sunday, using the hashtag #FESunday2023

Approaches to Dialogue in Colleges – Training Event

Approaches to Dialogue in Colleges is a free online training event on 18 May 1.30pm.

Award-winning Birmingham-based charity The Feast have huge experience in facilitating grass-roots youth work which brings teenagers together across different faiths and cultures to build friendships, explore faith and change lives.  The Feast’s Guidelines for Dialogue are now used in hundreds of schools, youth work and community settings across the country.

This online workshop jointly run by The Feast and FE Chaplaincy Ambassador Nigel Roberts introduces approaches to dialogue in college life, and is suitable for any staff keen to know how to do this better – including student services, tutors and chaplains.
